This position requires attention to detail, good sanitation practices, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced processing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCollect blood from the meat processing plant according to established procedures.Ensure blood is collected and handled properly to maintain quality and prevent contamination.Keep collection equipment and work areas clean and sanitary.Follow all safety, hygiene, and biosecurity procedures.Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).Follow instructions from supervisors and complete other assigned duties as needed.QualificationsAbility to work in a meat processing environment.Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.Willingness to work around animal blood and related materials.Previous experience in food processing, manufacturing, or blood collection is preferred but not required.Work EnvironmentWork is performed in a meat processing plant where exposure to animal blood, wet surfaces, strong odors, and varying temperatures may occur. Proper PPE and adherence to safety and sanitation procedures are required.
