Role

• Scrum Master - involves facilitating the agile Scrum process by coaching the team on Scrum principles, removing impediments, and leading ceremonies. This role acts as a servant-leader and coach, who helps the team self-organize and improve their productivity, ensuring adherence to the framework.

• Facilitate Scrum events : Organize and lead all Scrum ceremonies, including the Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective.
• Remove impediments : Identify and help resolve any obstacles or issues that slow down the development team.
• Coach the team : Train and mentor the team on Scrum theory, practices, and agile principles to foster self-organization and continuous improvement.
• Support the Product Owner : Work with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is well-managed and understood by the development team.
• Promote communication : Ensure effective communication within the Scrum team and between the team and stakeholders.
• Responsible for managing agile board (ADO), including agile metrics (e.g. sprint burndowns/burn-ups, work planned vs completed, velocity, etc.) and for keeping agile board in good working order
• Reporting: Regular analysis of burndown charts, communicating work planned vs work completed by sprint, team velocity and other portfolio reporting to understand what gets built and at what cadence.
