Registered Nurse Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Pay Rate: $1,900 $2,016/week
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift Weekend Block (Saturday & Sunday + 1 Weekday)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Level IV / Surgical NICU experience with prior travel experience required

ResponsibilitiesDeliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill and premature infants in a Level IV/Surgical NICU
Assess, monitor, and manage neonatal patients with complex medical and surgical conditions, including CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, and pulmonary hypertension
Provide pre-operative, peri-operative, and post-operative neonatal nursing care
Administer medications, treatments, IV therapies, and other nursing interventions in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies
Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve the best possible patient outcomes
Educate and support families throughout the patient's hospitalization while maintaining accurate clinical documentation
Float to other units as required based on patient care needs
RequirementsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum Level IV / Surgical NICU experience required
Previous travel nursing experience required
Current BLS certification
Current PALS certification
NRP certification preferred
Ability to work Weekend Block Day shifts (Saturday, Sunday, and one weekday)
Must work at least one holiday if it falls during the assignment
Nicotine-free facility nicotine testing and drug screening required
Flu vaccination required during flu season (no medical or religious exemptions)
