IHOP is hiring highly skilled Waiters / Waitresses in San Antonio and Surrounding Areas, TX.

What will we ask of you?

• Promptly greet and seat guests at clean, sanitary "guest ready" tables
• Help guests make the right menu choices
• Take food and beverage orders accurately
• Enter orders into our POS system terminals or tablets
• Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely fashion
• Follow server banking procedures for processing payments
• Clear, clean, and reset tables and maintain the overall appearance of the restaurant
• Stock and rotate supplies in service areas
• Comply with all safety and sanitation standards
• Comply with IHOP uniform and appearance standards
• Complete the IHOP Academy Training program

• Be able to communicate effectively with guests and team members
• Understand our systems, safety standards, and operating procedures
• Handle money transactions accurately and responsibly
• Be a multi-tasker and maintain service standards
• Solve basic service issues with patience and professionalism
• Be flexible and available to work holidays and weekends
• Be a team player and contribute to the success of the team
• Thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes noisy environment

What physically must you be able to do?

• Expect to be on your feet for the majority of your shift
• Carry up to 25 lbs. periodically throughout your shift
• Bend, stoop, kneel, and stretch for cleaning and maintenance tasks
