About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Field Services to take on a pivotal role in the acceptance, commissioning, and long-term maintenance of fiber optic networks. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing field operations that support new network integration, preventative maintenance, and customer-focused remote hands activities. This includes managing a team of field technicians, ensuring the delivery of a best-in-class customer experience, and maintaining quality and regulatory compliance. The Vice President will also be a key liaison between executive leadership and field teams, driving clear communication, operational efficiency, and consistent execution. Applicants for the Vice President of Field Services position at the company should have a strong background in the telecommunications or utility industry, with a minimum of 10 years' experience. A Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred, although relevant certifications or equivalent civil construction experience will be considered. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record of at least 7 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity, and the ability to de-escalate customer concerns, create and implement training programs, and coordinate operational maintenance tasks. The Vice President will also be responsible for maintaining accurate field documentation, supporting emergency repairs, and contributing to operational improvements through technical analysis and system data.
