Hello, We are looking for an elder care companion to visit our 58 yr. old cousin for a couple of hours every week. The ideal candidate would be a compassionate and reliable person, one who would provide both mental and physical stimulation for our cousin as he awaits placement into a local group home. Suggested indoor activities include board game, car models, and/or music from the 60’s or 70’s. Outdoor activities include short walks/drives to local lunch spots and/or stores. The ideal candidate would be supportive, encouraging and calm. S/he would refrain from using indecent or derogatory language (i.e., cursing) .
