Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
Shift: 4x10-hour days
Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital travel assignment

This travel assignment focuses on operating a range of imaging modalities within a busy imaging department. The multimodality technologist will perform imaging studies across multiple modalities, maintaining high image quality and patient safety while supporting departmental goals. The role requires proficiency in at least three modalities and collaboration with the radiology team to ensure efficient patient care. Epic experience is required, and CT proficiency is essential for this assignment.

Responsibilities
- Operate radiography, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and/or mammography equipment; competently perform duties in at least three modalities
- Safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs; ensure patient safety and comfort
- Prepare contrast agents and manage contrast administration as appropriate; monitor for adverse reactions
- Perform mobile imaging examinations and assist with imaging in various patient settings
- Conduct equipment readiness and safety checks, including defibrillator tests and crash cart readiness
- Accurately document imaging procedures in the electronic health record (EPIC) with proper labeling and image storage
- Collaborate with radiology team to meet departmental objectives and uphold quality standards

Requirements
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: Current Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice; ARRT certification required; must hold current certification in at least one advanced modality (CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography) and be able to perform duties in at least one additional advanced modality; ARRT-CT or ARRT-M (or equivalent) required; Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required; EPIC experience required
- Experience: At least two years of recent imaging experience; three years preferred; CT experience required
- Specialty/Skills: Ability to perform in a multimodality imaging environment; strong attention to safety and quality; ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting
