Overview Vaco Phoenix is hiring a Tax Accountant for one of our top clients. This is an onsite role with a salary up to $95,000. The right candidate will have public accounting experience, be detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Full-cycle accounting: journal entries, bank and ledger reconciliations, month-end close. Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns. Prepare financial statements, payroll reports, and 1099s. Communicate with clients for tax documentation and inquiries. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Tax preferred. 4+ years in public accounting. Experience with full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, fixed assets, and month-end close. CPA or EA preferred but not required. Strong communication and organizational skills.
