Staff Pharmacist – Van Nuys, CA We are seeking a California-licensed Staff Pharmacist to join our independent community pharmacy in Van Nuys. This is a great opportunity for a patient-focused professional who enjoys working in a neighborhood pharmacy setting and building meaningful relationships with patients. This role blends retail pharmacy operations with clinical services, allowing you to make a direct impact on patient care. Key Responsibilities Accurately dispense and verify prescriptions Provide patient counseling and medication therapy support Administer immunizations and other clinical services Supervise and support pharmacy technicians Ensure compliance with California Board of Pharmacy regulations Build strong relationships with patients and referral partners to expand pharmacy services Required Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Active California Pharmacist license, no previous violations on file Immunization certification Experience with prescription filling and pharmacy operations Strong knowledge of drug information and prescription dispensing Preferred Qualifications Clinical pharmacy operations experience Medication Therapy Management (MTM) experience Medication safety Experience administering immunizations Strong commitment to patient safety and problem resolution Bilingual - Spanish fluency is highly preferred Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary and flexible scheduling 401(k) with company match based on financial performance Paid time off and holiday pay Continuing education and conference reimbursement Annual performance bonus based on established KPIs If you are passionate about patient care, community engagement, and advancing clinical pharmacy services, we encourage you to apply and join our growing team.
