Role Overview:
The staff Archaeologist serves as the primary archaeologist for the Indiana Army National Guard, focusing on archaeological resources at the Camp Atterbury and Muscatatuck Training Center. The positon reports to the Cultural Resource Manager and supports managemnt of cultural resources and compliance with federal and state cultural resources laws including but not limited to NHPA, ARPA and NAGPRA.
Salary:
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $53,222.00 but may be commensurate with education and work experience. Use our to view the total compensation package.

Individuals in this role should minimally be able to articulate or demonstrate the following:
A degree is not required. However, at least five (5) years of environmental or environmental public health experience applying the outlined knowledge, skills, and abilities in a similar role may be considered.
Individuals should have the ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
This role may be utilized in a supervisory capacity based on agency needs.
