Position Summary:
Dedicated ERP Integration Engineer with a focus on supporting sales and engineering teams through the development and integration of the Configurator into the Epicor ERP system.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
5+ years of hands-on experience with SolidWorks for design and assembly development.
Proven track record of 3+ years in gathering information and specifications directly from customers.
Extensive background in drafting with bill of materials (BOM).
Proficient in Epicor software.
Skilled in using CADLink or similar integration tools for exporting SolidWorks models and drawings to ERP systems.
Capable of working independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in manufacturing, truck upfitting, or automotive industry.
Experience exporting SolidWorks models, BOM, and drawings into Epicor ERP.
Configurator experience and knowledge of C++ programming.
Familiarity with various ERP Software.
Responsibilities:
Provide support to sales engineers in generating quotes using Epicor's quoting function.
Manage and update part numbers, pricing, inventory, and relevant customer attachments within the Epicor system.
Drive the development and standardization of the Configurator to enhance the efficiency of the quoting process.
Conduct training sessions to educate team members on the Configurator and Epicor processes.
Contribute to improvement projects aimed at enhancing system functionalities and processes.
