Salary: $130,000 - 170,000 per year Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in analytics development.
• At least 4 years of experience with Power BI and Tableau, complex data analysis, and ETL development and data integration.
• At least 2 years of experience with data modeling, automation, GitHub, Python, and Microsoft SQL.
• Experience designing and optimizing Power BI semantic models and dashboards.
• Strong knowledge of data quality, validation, testing, and governance.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Preferred: Experience with Agile/Scrum, API integration, Power BI refresh automation and monitoring, metadata management, data lineage, security controls, AI-driven analytics, natural language query capabilities, mentoring, and reusable reporting or data integration frameworks.
• Candidates must not require sponsorship.

• Design, develop, test, and support Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models.
• Automate data validation, testing, user acceptance testing, data refreshes, monitoring, error handling, and data quality controls.
• Build and maintain automated ETL pipelines and integrate and transform data from multiple enterprise sources.
• Create reusable data assets for self-service analytics.
• Optimize data and semantic models, metadata, and business definitions.
• Implement data quality, lineage, security, and governance controls.
• Support AI-driven analytics and natural language queries through optimized semantic models.
• Use Python and GitHub for automation, version control, and development workflows.
• Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver business intelligence solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance across projects.
• Participate in Agile development and contribute to continuous improvement.

We are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to lead end-to-end business intelligence solution development, including scalable reports, dashboards, semantic models, data pipelines, and reusable data assets. The role is based preferably in Charlotte, North Carolina, with Irving, Texas as a second option. Our work schedule is hybrid, with three days onsite and two remote. This is a contract position with potential conversion to permanent employment. The interview process is a one-hour virtual panel with three interviewers.
