What We Look For In a Replit Tutor Advanced Subject Mastery: Deep knowledge of Replit cloud development environment including online IDE features, multi-language support, collaborative coding, Replit AI assistant, deployment, database integration, version control, and project hosting. Ability to explain browser-based development workflows, AI-assisted code generation, and rapid prototyping capabilities while preparing students for collaborative coding and web application deployment. Conceptual Teaching & Problem-Solving: Skilled at teaching cloud-based development, collaborative coding, and rapid application deployment using Replit. Guides students through creating projects in multiple programming languages, using Replit AI for code generation and debugging, collaborating in real-time with other developers, deploying web applications, and integrating databases. Emphasizes accessible development without local setup and connects Replit to learning programming, hackathon prototyping, and team collaboration. Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with Replit platform capabilities and common challenges such as understanding cloud versus local development differences, managing project dependencies, and leveraging AI assistance effectively.
