Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Data Processing Clerk to join their operations team in a fully remote capacity. Day to day, you will spend your time entering, verifying, and organizing information across multiple systems, catching errors before they become problems, and keeping records clean and current. Responsibilities

• Enter and update data accurately across internal databases and systems
• Review documents and records for completeness and correctness
• Verify data by comparing it to source documents
• Sort, organize, and file digital records according to company procedures
• Generate routine reports summarizing processed data
• Identify and correct data entry errors or inconsistencies
• Respond to requests for information from internal team members
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and customer data
• Meet daily and weekly data processing quotas and deadlines
• Assist with special data cleanup or migration projects as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong typing speed and accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet home workspace
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• Prior data entry or clerical experience a plus but not required
