Job Description



Registered Nurses will float to various Henry Ford clinics to provide exceptional patient care and clinical support across our health system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in diverse outpatient clinic settings, adapting quickly to different clinical environments and patient populations
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans utilizing clinical expertise and evidence-based practice standards
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, physicians, and clinic staff to ensure seamless patient care coordination
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, patient education, and health promotion activities
  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, families, and healthcare team members to support positive health outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with Henry Ford Health System standards
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence, flexibility, and continuous learning across multiple clinic locations

Schedule & Flexibility:

Minimum commitment is 2 days per week with opportunities to work up to a full schedule. Primarily Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts. Optional weekend opportunities available with pay differential. Must be flexible with location and clinic assignments to meet system-wide staffing needs.

Qualifications



EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Two years of related clinical nursing experience in the area of interest and a demonstrated level of performance and practice required.
  • Willingness to float to multiple locations.
  • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
  • Current BLS
