Job Description
We are seeking a reliable Reach Truck Operator to join our team at a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a reach truck to move, store, and organize raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished products. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trailers, replenishing production lines, maintaining accurate inventory placement, performing equipment checks, and following all food safety, GMP, and warehouse safety procedures. Candidates must be comfortable working in a production environment, maintaining a clean workspace, and meeting daily operational goals.
salary: $19.99 - $20 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 5 AM - 5:30 PM
education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
- Operate reach truck safely to move and store pallets of ingredients, packaging, and finished products.
- Load and unload trailers while verifying product quantities and locations.
- Replenish materials to production lines as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory placement and follow FIFO/FEFO procedures.
- Perform equipment inspections and report safety or maintenance issues.
- Follow all food safety, GMP, sanitation, and warehouse safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting while meeting production goals.
The essential functions of this role include:
- working in a smoke free environment
- wearing steel toe shoes
- working in a non-temperature controlled environment
Skills
