Job Description

This assignment is for a PowerBI Report developer to support Infrastructure department with report development of Azure Analytics data and other Cloud resource data related to cost management, resource management and other tagging of other cloud resources. This includes development and application maintenance efforts as well as design & delivery of Azure Cloud related cost data. The selected resource should be capable of working with complex SQL queries, debugging Stored procedures, ingesting data from multiple data sources into the data warehouse and create analytics and reports on that data as needed. Knowledge of PowerBI reports, visualizations and database structures, performance tuning, and data analysis is required.

• Design & develop new reports using PowerBI and visualizations.
• Perform data analysis and test/debug reports.
• Design and extract data from different data sources including Azure Cloud resources and other Azure cloud PaaS sources.
• Create and maintain data models, including data warehousing and data lakes, to support analytical workloads.
• Apply effective programming security practices.
• Practices current development methods/techniques and establishes development standards (which include coding standards, documentation standards, and testing standards) to ensure the quality and maintainability of automated solutions.
• Following established change management code migration processes.

• Experience in data ingestion, data transformation, and data loading
• Advanced knowledge of PowerBI / Tableau or similar reporting tools
• Knowledge of Azure Data platforms such as Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, etc
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and T-SQL code to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data.

• 8+ Years of report development experience using PowerBI or similar technologies.
• 5+ Years of Data ingestion and transformation experience using SSIS, SSDT
• 2+ Years of experience with Azure Data platforms

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or IT or equivalent
