Job Description: PLC Programmer | Traverse City, MI Salary Range: $67,000 - $105,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities - Develop, program, and debug PLC logic for industrial automation systems.
- Design and implement HMI/SCADA interfaces for machine control and data visualization.
- Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and resolution of complex automation system issues.
- Participate in the commissioning and startup of new equipment and production lines.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for PLC programs and control system configurations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize machine performance and process efficiency.
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations personnel.
Recommended Qualifications - Proficiency in programming, configuring, and troubleshooting Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) and/or Siemens PLCs.
- Demonstrated experience with HMI/SCADA system design, development, and integration.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation and control system programming within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET) and ability to read electrical schematics.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex automation issues, ensuring system uptime and efficiency.
- Relevant technical degree (e.g., Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
Bonus Qualifications - Experience with HMI/SCADA development and integration.
- Proficiency in industrial robotics programming (e.g., Fanuc, KUKA, ABB).
- Knowledge of database integration (SQL) and data historization.
- Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
