Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and implement PLC programs for manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Test, debug, and validate PLC code to ensure system functionality, reliability, and safety.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation and control system issues on production lines.
- Perform routine maintenance, modifications, and optimization of existing PLC programs and HMI interfaces.
- Collaborate with engineers, operators, and maintenance teams to define requirements and improve process efficiency.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation for PLC programs, system configurations, and operational procedures.
- Ensure all programming adheres to industry standards, safety regulations, and company best practices.
Recommended Qualifications - Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., Ladder Logic, Structured Text) across major platforms (e.g., Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider Electric).
- Experience with HMI/SCADA system development, configuration, and integration.
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills for industrial control systems.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control documentation.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, automation principles, and safety standards relevant to industrial machinery.
Bonus Qualifications - Robotics integration and programming experience.
- Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
- Proficiency with advanced HMI/SCADA development and data reporting.
- Familiarity with industrial network diagnostics and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience integrating PLCs with higher-level systems (e.g., MES, ERP, SQL databases).
