Bike Fun seeks a part-time, contract instructor to start in summer 2026.
This person will be providing one-on-one lessons for private bicycle students as well as collaborating with other Bike Fun contractors to lead small group classes on bicycle riding skills, serve as ride leaders for group rides, and participate in outreach events with our community partners.
Job summary
This position will comprise up to 5-10 hours a week of instruction of small group classes or one-on-one lessons. Hours per week are set by class and lesson schedule and can vary widely. Travel within the Middle Tennessee area will be necessary. Interested parties from outside of the Nashville metro area are encouraged to inquire as we are looking to expand our outreach to more counties.
Availability on at least one weekend day is essential. Work during the week is determined by our class and outreach schedule. Instructors are provided with a basic toolkit and up to 3 paid shadow shifts to learn our instructional methods.
Desired contract period is from July through November; however, shorter contract periods can be considered. (Yes, we have a contract!)
