We’re not looking for someone who needs to learn the craft — we’re looking for someone who’s already mastered it. As an Instructional Designer on our Training & Development team, you’ll be a true force multiplier: a self-sufficient, high-output producer who can take a concept from whiteboard to finished training asset without a lot of hand-holding. You’ll own the design and production of eLearning modules, animated and live-action training videos, job aids, and field-facing training tools that support our corporate and franchise teams. You’ll work across a fast-moving portfolio — from Limited Time Offer (LTO) rollouts to operations manual alignment — and you’ll need to bring both creative polish and operational discipline to everything you deliver. If you thrive on variety, move fast without cutting corners, and get real satisfaction from seeing your work used in the field — keep reading. WHAT YOU’LL DO Design and produce eLearning — build scenario-based, interactive courses in Articulate Storyline and/or Rise 360 that are engaging, on-brand, and tied to measurable outcomes Create training videos — both animated explainer videos (motion graphics) and live-action recordings, including scripting, voiceover coordination, editing, and post-production Build job aids and performance support tools — translate complex operational procedures into clean, accessible quick-reference materials Support LTO and ops testing cycles — develop and coordinate training assets that align with Limited Time Offer launches, All-Store Testing (AST), and operational testing initiatives Manage portal content — own the training content library; keep it organized, current, and easy to navigate Align training to the Ops Manual — partner with Operations to ensure training content stays in sync with procedural documentation Support field trainers — facilitate webinars, in-person sessions, and train-the-trainer programs to support Field Training Partners Use AI to work smarter — actively leverage AI tools to streamline content development workflows, automate repetitive production tasks, and continuously raise the bar on quality and output WHAT YOU BRING You’re a skilled practitioner, not a generalist. Here’s what we’re specifically looking for: 3+ years of hands-on instructional design experience with a portfolio to show for it (eLearning, video, job aids — the full picture) Expert-level Articulate Storyline and/or Rise 360 — you can build complex, branching interactions independently Animated video production experience — Vyond, Powtoon, or similar motion graphics platforms Video editing proficiency — Camtasia, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent Strong visual design skills — proficient in Canva; Adobe Creative Suite familiarity a plus LMS administration experience — Docebo experience strongly preferred; comfortable with publishing, reporting, and learner management Adult learning theory grounding — ADDIE, SAM, or comparable ISD framework AI fluency — hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Synthesia, or similar) to accelerate production and automate workflow steps Project management chops — you juggle competing deadlines independently and stakeholders trust your timeline Professional working proficiency in Spanish (written and spoken) — required Restaurant, hospitality, or multi-unit franchise experience SCORM/xAPI knowledge Experience facilitating in-person or virtual training EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree or higher in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience backed by a strong portfolio. LOCATION & WORK ARRANGEMENT This role is based in Charlotte, NC. You’ll work a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week at our Support Center. Occasional travel (up to 5%) is required, including overnight stays. WHY JOIN US Hybrid flexibility with meaningful in-person collaboration in Charlotte High-impact, high-visibility work across corporate and franchise teams Collaborative T&D team that values craft, moves quickly, and embraces AI-powered ways of working Opportunity to shape training systems that reach thousands of team members #J-18808-Ljbffr Bojangles' Restaurants, Inc.
