Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist senior technicians with the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of data center HVAC systems and supporting infrastructure.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment such as chillers, boilers, heaters, cooling towers, air distribution systems, and water pumps under direct supervision.
  • Maintain assigned equipment in clean, efficient, and first-class operating condition in accordance with industry standards, codes, and laws.
  • Support routine and emergency maintenance activities as directed by supervisors.
  • Actively pursue continual improvement of technical skills through hands-on experience and trade literature.
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to learn and excel in the HVAC industry.
  • Participate in after-hours assignments as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

  • Must be a US citizen.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of HVAC service experience required; 2 years preferred.
  • Knowledge of refrigeration principles.
  • Working knowledge of basic electricity as it applies to HVAC systems and diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to work effectively under direct supervision and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
