Director of Sales & Marketing

Orlando, FL

This is not a “keep the ship afloat” sales role. This is about building momentum, owning the market, and driving revenue in one of the most competitive hospitality landscapes in the country. We’re searching for a Director of Sales & Marketing who thrives on winning business, leading teams, and crafting strategies that don’t just hit targets, they set new ones.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the charge on sales growth across diverse market segments: corporate, group, government, associations, sports, and beyond.
  • Design and execute innovative sales and marketing strategies that cut through the noise and position the property as the go-to choice in the region.
  • Partner closely with revenue and operations leaders to ensure sales strategies align with budgets, forecasts, and long-term growth goals.
  • Own the digital footprint—leverage social media, SEO, and online campaigns to expand reach and generate demand.
  • Build and nurture client relationships that last, with memorable presentations, compelling proposals, and consistent follow-through.
  • Represent the property at industry events, trade shows, and in the community—being the face of the brand.
  • Mentor, inspire, and guide the sales team—developing talent and ensuring everyone is equipped to succeed.

What We’re Looking For

  • A proven sales leader with 5+ years in hospitality sales (3+ years at the director level).
  • Someone with a strong track record of growing revenue, leading teams, and winning new business.
  • A strategist who knows the numbers but can also think creatively when it comes to campaigns and positioning.
  • Confident, persuasive communication skills, able to negotiate, close, and influence.
  • Comfortable with hotel systems and reporting tools (knowledge of Opera/Delphi is a plus).
  • Flexibility to travel, work outside the 9–5 when needed, and show up when the business demands it.
