About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable High School Literature Teacher to instruct Grades 10 through 12. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in literature, English, or a related humanities field, and a passion for guiding students through advanced literary analysis, critical thinking, and academic writing. You will be responsible for delivering rigorous, engaging, and age-appropriate curriculum while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture that prepares students for university-level study.
Key Requirements:
• Master's degree in Literature, English, Education, or a closely related humanities field. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with substantial teaching experience may be considered.
• Native English speaker.
• Prior teaching experience with high school students (ages 15-18) in a classroom setting, with a strong focus on literature, composition, or humanities instruction.
• Deep understanding of adolescent and young adult development and proven high school classroom management skills.
• Ability to design differentiated instruction, seminar-style discussions, and project-based learning activities centered on literary analysis, comparative literature, and academic writing.
• Familiarity with major literary traditions (British, American, World Literature) and contemporary literary criticism.
• Must be able to pass a background check and a comprehensive teaching demonstration.
• Experience in international or bilingual high schools, AP/IB/A-Level literature programs, or university preparatory settings is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:
• Salary: 200,000 to 400,000 RMB per year (Negotiable based on qualifications and experience)
• Work Schedule: Standard high school calendar, Monday to Friday, weekends off.
• Visa: Full work visa sponsorship provided for eligible candidates.
