Blue Recruitment Personnel is recruiting for a skilled HGV Car Transporter Driver to support a busy vehicle transport operation in the St Albans area.

This role suits a confident driver who is comfortable handling specialist loads, working to deadlines, and maintaining a high standard of professionalism on every job.

You will be joining a role where accuracy, care, and reliability matter.

The Role:

The position involves moving vehicles between sites, customer locations, and delivery points while ensuring every load is handled safely.

You will be expected to manage your workload efficiently, keep paperwork up to date, and represent the business in a professional manner.

Good road awareness and a careful approach to vehicle security are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport vehicles safely between agreed locations.

• Check loads, straps, and securing equipment before departure.

• Keep accurate records of collections and deliveries.

• Follow route plans and driving compliance requirements.

• Maintain good communication with the transport office.

• Identify and report any issues affecting the journey or vehicle condition.

Requirements:

• Full UK HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence.

• Valid CPC and digital tachograph card.

• Relevant car transporter or vehicle delivery experience.

• Strong organisational and communication skills.

• High standards of safety and professionalism.

• Ability to work independently and reliably.

Suitable Experience:

• Vehicle transporter driving.

• Automotive logistics.

• Prestige car delivery.

• Specialist haulage.
