About the Role
Join a high-impact team as a Healthcare Quality Assurance Analyst, shaping the future of healthcare data integrity. Collaborate with industry experts, leveraging advanced SQL skills to drive quality improvements in hospital and claims data across Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers. Experience a flexible hybrid work environment in Albany, with onsite engagement just 1-2 times per month.
Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end quality assurance testing for large healthcare datasets
- Analyze, validate, and ensure data completeness and accuracy per technical documentation
- Collaborate closely with a skilled, SQL-focused team to uphold business and program rules
- Independently manage tasks, proactively communicating risks and timelines to leadership
- Contribute to strategic quality assurance and process improvement initiatives
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in technical, scientific, or related field
- 6+ years of relevant healthcare industry experience
- Advanced SQL proficiency and expertise in analyzing large datasets
- Strong grasp of relational database principles
- Capable with Microsoft Office
- Exceptional documentation, critical thinking, and analytical abilities
- Collaborative, customer-focused approach to teamwork and stakeholder management
Preferred Skills
- Experience with multi-LOB claims data and ETL processes
- Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM)
- Understanding of ANSI EDI X12 and/or NCPDP healthcare transaction sets
- Graduate degree in health informatics, public health, statistics, or computer science
