Furniture Repair Technician Details:
What your day-to-day will look like:
*Diagnose basic to moderate furniture damage and determine appropriate repair method
*Perform repairs including burn-in fills, wood touch-ups, and frame stabilization
*Assist with refinishing furniture—sanding, staining, and polishing as needed*Reupholster or repair minor fabric issues such as seams and stuffing
*Replace or repair furniture components (legs, arms, handles, hinges, etc.)*Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
*Use and maintain hand and power tools in a safe, effective manner
*Collaborate with senior team members to meet repair goals
*Inspect outbound deluxe furniture on multiple lanes daily to proactively identify and address damage, wear, or finish issues
*Support general warehouse operations during downtime as applicable, including: unloading trucks, pulling product, staging deliveries, and maintaining a clean work area
Furniture Repair Technician Qualifications:
*One to two years of experience in furniture repair, carpentry, upholstery, refinishing, or a related trade.
*Basic knowledge of hand and power tools, including safe operating practices.
*Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality repairs.
* Ability to lift and move furniture weighing up to 75 pounds.
*No specific degree is required; candidates must complete all required pre-employment screenings.
