What You'll Be Doing

As a top-level Electrical Technician, you'll be responsible for building, testing, troubleshooting, and improving complex electromechanical systems that support advanced robotic printing technology.

Key responsibilities include:

• Troubleshoot and optimize electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and fluid systems
• Build and integrate control panels, wire harnesses, electrical cabinets, and test equipment
• Support the design and construction of test stands and infrastructure
• Diagnose and repair motors, actuators, pumps, valves, PLCs, and control systems
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Collect test data and work with engineers to improve system performance
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
• Mentor junior technicians and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Use electrical testing equipment including multimeters and voltage meters
• Support prototype development and product validation for advanced robotic systems

What We're Looking For

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of electrical or electromechanical troubleshooting experience
• Strong experience in industrial automation, robotics, or control systems
• Experience working with 120V-480V electrical systems
• Knowledge of three-phase motors, control panels, PLCs, and HMIs
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints
• Experience troubleshooting wiring, electrical components, and mechanical assemblies
• Familiarity with pumps, compressors, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems
• Comfortable using electrical diagnostic and testing equipment
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a hands-on industrial environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing, startup, or R&D environments

Associate degree in Mechatronics, Electronics Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related field

Experience with high-voltage or high-current systems

Strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement

This is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
