Job Description

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain environment-specific Kubernetes configuration packages using Helm values files and YAML manifests.
• Implement STIG-aligned hardening and RBAC policy enforcement across IL environments.
• Manage secrets injection strategies using AWS Secrets Manager and Azure Key Vault.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines for secure automated deployment and rollback of ArcGIS components and related services.
• Coordinate with Kubernetes, data layer, and infrastructure teams on version control, pipeline integrity, integration testing, and cloud resource planning.
• Provide container and workload specifications, implement cloud resource tagging, reconcile usage estimates, and support workload scaling and cost optimization.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters, automate cloud infrastructure, and maintain secure, highly available CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or five years of equivalent DevOps engineering experience.
• Knowledge of designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure management across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP, security best practices, and monitoring and logging solutions including Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Experience with Kubernetes cluster deployment and management, cloud infrastructure automation, secure high-availability CI/CD pipelines, microservices architecture, service mesh technologies, and observability tools.
• Preferred certifications include Certified Kubernetes Administrator, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, and Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert.
