About: Skokie Country Club is located in Glencoe, IL. We are a world class private club; dedicated to giving our Members excellent food, beverage, and service. Our team goes above and beyond to ensure our Members have positive experiences each and every day.

Description: This is a full time, year round position that will involve bartending, taking food orders, and serving in our Paddle House during the off season and in our Halfway House during our in season. Both buildings are located on the property.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Must have wine, spirits, and mixology knowledge.
Prepare and serve alcoholic, and non-alcoholic beverages while adhering to the Clubs service standards
Ability to work affectively with a team
Demonstrate genuine hospitality and deliver exceptional Member and guest service throughout the Club
Stock, organize, and maintain beverage inventory, glassware, and drink garnishes
Setup and breakdown of bar and restaurant
Put away requisition each day
Preform all side work as assigned
Keep the bar, and restaurant clean, safe, and presentable at all times while always providing friendly and attentive service
Answer questions regarding food and beverage menus
Take, ring through POS, and serve food orders, to-go orders, and specialty orders
Make food and beverage recommendations to Members and guests
Own every Member request
Any other duties assigned by the F&B management team, Clubhouse Manager, or GM

Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must have previous bartending experience
Experience in private clubs is a plus
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Must be BASSET certified
Must be Food Handler Certified

Availability: Must be available to work nights, weekends, Club events, and most Holidays

Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on experience starting from $22 - $24/hr. This is a non-tipping facility.

Physical/Mental Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Requires occasional bending, reaching, stretching
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Can carry and balance a loaded tray
Must be able to stand and work outside for long periods of time
Must have upbeat, outgoing positive attitude
Must possess a true desire to satisfy the needs of Members and guests in a fast paced environment
