Job Description

As a Bobarista/Kitchen Staff, you'll be at the heart of our operation, ensuring every guest's is served quality food and drinks. You’ll bake egg tarts and cookies, and cook our high-quality boba, and prepare snacks and desserts, maintaining our store's cleanliness and operational organization. This role is perfect for someone who loves to bake/cook and can multitask.

Requirements

• TUESDAY/WEDNESDAY AND WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS IMPORTANT
• MUST HAVE NYC DOHM FOOD PROTECTION LICENSE
• Seeking RESPONSIBLE staff for 20-30 hours a week - with a minimum 1 year commitment (college students must be able to work at least 2-3 days Mondays-Fridays during school year and available on the weekends)
• Must be able to work 20-30 hours per week.
• Strong verbal communication for effective guest and team interactions.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple orders at once.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and precise measurements.
• Skilled in time management and quick decision-making.
• Enthusiastic, adaptable, and open-minded work ethic.
• Knowledge of kitchen prep, basic cooking and cleaning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Will be required to learn FOH drinks but mainly BOH kitchen responsibilities.
• Gain a comprehensive knowledge of the YAAAS TEA menu.
• Follow our SOPs diligently for making boba, drinks and bakery goods/desserts.
• Cook boba, prep drink bases and prepare food and baked goods as needed.
• Ensure store cleanliness and orderliness.
• Restock stations for continuous drink production.
• Execute additional tasks as directed by management.
• Efficiently manage kitchen schedules and daily responsibilities.
• Maintain kitchen and store cleanliness.
• Adhere to BOH prep and recipes to uphold our quality standards.
• Implement the FIFO method to maintain freshness.
